We at Quality Care Associates (QCA) are committed to providing care to our patients, and the community, in these difficult times. We completely understand the fact that many people do not want to leave their home, but still have health care needs. For this reason, QCA has activated a Telehealth phone process, for our established patients. If you have previously been a patient at QCA, simply call the office, 740 236-4131, and the front desk personnel will start the process, and a provider will call you, do a phone evaluation, and be able to provide you medical advice and prescriptions as indicated. If the provider feels it is in your best interest to have a physical exam, you may be asked to come to the office. Most insurers are waiving copays for these services, and self-pay patients will be billed at a reduced rate. For those of you that have not been to QCA in the past, we still believe it is safe for you to come to our office for care. In the next several days however, we will be adding our video Telehealth process. Details will be provided soon, and we will post this process on Facebook and our website. You should be able to register online and initiate a video encounter with a provider. We are working hard to get this up and running as soon as possible! We will still be open for urgent care walk-ins. Again, if you have a medical urgency, or emergency, do not hesitate to seek medical care. Patients that think they may have Coronavirus but are not acutely short of breath need to contact your provider first! We can provide phone advice and determine whether or not you should proceed with testing. If you have high fever and shortness of breath, it is best to proceed to an Emergency Department. There are no reported cases in Washington County currently. However, that will most likely change in the near future. We must be diligent about social distancing and safe hygiene measures. We have initiated cleaning and hygiene protocols and we feel strongly that our environment is safe.
