🎹 Keys for a Cause: A Dueling Pianos Show Friday, June 5 | 6:30–9:30 p.m.

Recovery Point West Virginia is hosting this high-energy fundraiser featuring dueling pianos, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of heart. It’s a night of music that makes a difference — all proceeds support recovery and community impact in the region. More info →

🎗️ Relay for Life of Wood County – “The Great Cancer Standoff: High Noon in June” Saturday, June 7 | Noon–10:00 p.m. City Park, Parkersburg, WV

This year’s Relay for Life kicks off at high noon, with opening ceremonies, a survivor lap, caregiver lap, and a full day of community celebration in support of cancer research and those fighting the disease. The grand marshal this year is an 11-year-old who has beaten cancer twice. Come out and show your support. More info →

🍦 Salem Township Volunteer Fire Department Ice Cream Social Saturday, June 7 | 4:00–7:00 p.m. Salem-Liberty Elementary School

A great family afternoon: ice cream, a full baked steak or chicken dinner, bingo, bounce houses, a country store, and live entertainment by Pick’n on Country starting at 4 p.m. This is the kind of community gathering that makes summer in the valley feel like summer in the valley.
