Detail: Join us for our very first Costume Saturday as we help the community prepare for Halloween. Our spaces will be open every Saturday to assist our members with costume creation. Get guidance from the Makerspace staff and use our equipment to help you create the costume you need, or want, this Halloween. Looking for a cape, cloak, mask or piece of clothing, use our fiber arts space. Looking for a magic wand or potion bottles from your favorite witches and wizards or props from your favorite video game characters, check our our creative arts space. Our 3D printers and/or laser space are also available to help you create that final prop to complete your costume. Our staff will be on hand to help you create what you need to complete your best costume. Our two-part festival includes a multitude of events for people of all ages!  Starting at 5 pm, we will be closing down a section of Putnam Street for the little ones to enjoy a street party filled with jumpy houses, food and soda, and more! Then, when you need a break from the gut-busting good time outside, you can enter the not-so-spooky haunted house inside and enjoy carnival games!  However, once the sun begins to set at 7 pm, the ghouls will come out. For all of you young adults looking for a spooktacular time, join us for a Disco Monster Mash, and a night-time of scares! What: South Fall Craft Festival

Detail:  South Fall Craft Festival sponsored by Parkersburg South Cheerleading will be held Nov. 16th, 8:30am to 3:30pm at Parkersburg South High School.  Booth Space: $27 with table and chairs, $22 you provide your own table and chairs  • Last year’s vendors, those who sell a company product such as Origami Owl, Tastefully Simple, etc., will have first dibs for a spot. Please let me know ASAP if you are returning. I will need to have your registration form with payment no later than September 1st to keep your spot. • Set up times are Friday evening Nov. 15th from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturday morning from 7:30am to 8:30am. Please DO NOT arrive prior to the scheduled set up times. The gyms will not be ready. There are other activities and sports going on at South so we cannot start prior to the scheduled time. All crafters are to report to the main hallway at the check in table for your table assignments.   •      Each Crafter or Vendor will need to donate one item for a door/raffle prize of a $10 or more value.  • Deadline for registrations is November 10th. We do have limited space and reached capacity last year. Booth fee is non-refundable. Payments made after Nov. 1st will need to be in the form of a money order or cash.  • Spaces will be approx. 10×6 unless you are in a hall way space. You must provide you own table coverings.  •        We will try to accommodate those who want to be beside certain other crafters. However we will not hold a spot so I suggest that your forms are sent together. Also if one has electric and the other doesn’t the chances of being side by side is unlikely.  There are a limited number of electric spots and can fill up quickly. These will be on a first come first serve basis.   Chairs are provided for those who are paying the $27 for table and chairs. Those who are bringing their own table will also need to bring their own chairs.
